Ingredients
30g freshly ground coffee (medium-fine)
500ml filtered water (205°F/96°C)

Instructions

Prepare Your Equipment
Place the paper filter in your dripper and rinse thoroughly with hot water. This removes any paper taste and preheats your equipment. Discard the rinse water.

Measure and Grind
Weigh out 30g of coffee beans and grind to a medium-fine consistency, similar to table salt. Add the coffee to the filter & give it a gentle shake to level the bed.

The Bloom
Start your timer and pour twice the weight of your coffee (60g) in a circular motion, making sure to wet all the grounds. Let it bloom for 30 seconds.

Continue Pouring
After the bloom, slowly pour water in a spiral pattern, starting from the center & working your way out. Keep the water level consistent & avoid pouring directly on the filter.

Final Pour and Drawdown
Continue pouring until you reach 500g total water weight. The entire brew should take 3-4 minutes. Wait for all the water to drain through.
